Find Your Place Online with a Digital Agency

If you don’t think you need to employ a digital agency, read this. According to the BBC, £33 billion was spent by UK consumers online in 2009. And it’s easy to see why: the simplicity and convenience of the internet has massively increased the amount of people buying anything from food to televisions online. Still, £33 billion’s an impressive amount. What’s your company doing to earn itself a piece of that pie.

The entire world has gone digital. Online is the new high street. The good news is the massive opportunity that online retail is offering to businesses. This is especially true for smaller companies who might not have the high street presence they crave. Everybody’s equal online. Or at least, there’s definitely the potential for everyone to be. Ask your digital agency, it’s true! This means that even the smallest company can reach new customers easily providing their digital strategy’s good.

Sadly, too many companies neglect their digital strategy. It is important to mention here that owning a website alone does not constitute a digital strategy. Where’s the point in paying for hosting for a website that’s impossible to find, hard to use and never updated?

For small companies, the investment of a digital agency can be massive. But there’s no question that it’s worth the money: your return on investment will only ever be limited by consumer demand for whatever goods or services you’re selling.

It can be incredibly daunting to hand over control of your web strategy to a digital agency. But you must think of your digital strategy like a well-oiled machine with many component parts, like web design, web development, search engine optimisation, e-mail marketing, PPC and social media, amongst others. When just one of these cogs stops working, the whole machine could stall. Finding the expertise to manage each cog of the online presence machine in-house will be either impossible or costly in terms of time and money. Lucky then that your digital agency can manage all of this in one company. If just one company could build you a user-friendly website that’s as attractive to the human eye as it is the Google robots that scan it then provide you with the tools to keep it updated easily and then improve the site’s visibility and that of your brand using their web marketing expertise, you’d jump at the chance to hire them, wouldn’t you? That’s why you need a digital agency.
