SEO: Which approach suits you?

Simply having a great website design is not enough when you trying to drive more visitors, more clicks and ultimately more revenue from your online business. If you really want to get the right amount of success via the web , the you may have to look at getting some 3rd party assistance from an external SEO company . But be careful that you decide on  one that offer completely  full range of SEO services.

There are a great many ways to implement an SEO plan and many many latest ideas  but in general have 3 main choices.

1. Do the SEO work yourself
2. Employ an external SEO company
3. Go on SEO courses and then run your own campaign

SEO  experts can probably deliver  the more difficult SEO tasks more efficiently than you are able . The standard stuff which is pretty much all the basic on page optimisation  is something which you maybe able to do yourself, some of the off page work though is sometimes a very diferent story .

You should however, have a clear thought, have it clearly in mind  about what an external company is going to provide  for you. Have they got the right amount of experience, can they demonstrate success? These are some of the key things to consider.

After all some company’s will try and charge you a pretty penny for their services.

They should be able to provide you with a methodical  approach which should all be laid out for you in black and white . This should be followed by an action plan and an outline of how you’re going to be measuring the success of the campaign . If it’s an E-Commerce site then things can be  quite straight forward, if not you will have other factors you can measure like time on site and number of pages visited.

One thing that should always be in a proposal is appropriate keyword analysis, then competition analysis and then PPC analysis of the market to see which of the keywords actually bring in the money. If they don’t bring in any money then what’s the point in ranking highly? Also, please make sure that there are timely monthly and quarterly reviews, what you don’t want especially in the case of PPC (although this also goes for organic search) is that your campaign is set up and you simply let it run in some cases throwing more and more money into it.

Make sure you are getting the seo services you deserve and your business needs.
