Writing Copy for Search Engines and High Conversions

If a person has good skills with SEO copywriting, then that person can more easily get content ranked higher in the search engines. We want to discuss this more and offer some helpful tips so you can see better rankings.

What makes for successful SEO copy? There are many reasons for this situation, but the main reason is writers do not have a clear grasp of what needs to be done. It’s important that you deliver high quality content to your readers if you want them to respond back. Search engine algorithms are always changing because the search engines are trying to find a solution that will only rank high quality content sites. If you provide the highest quality content, then some websites may want to link to you on their own. But this is not very common and usually only happens if a site has some form of great entertainment value or information that is valuable. The truth about that is it’s a bit rare and not the way to go when it comes to getting backlinks. If you find you need to use the same keyword a lot, then you can write some kind of variation of it to get your point across. For those special writing situations you can select a good and relevant synonym and substitute it. The risk is not terrible, but keywords used too many times can set off flags, and your site could get human-reviewed and/or you could receive points off for SEO. Using appropriate and relevant keywords becomes a totally new picture with the search engines, and it is looked upon favorably. Google will look at this situation from the perspective of Latent Semantic Indexing, or LSI, and it’s actually viewed in a positive manner. This technology shows related keywords and determines the value of the content.

Try to avoid using flash when writing your copy; stick with text. You can not fully optimize your site if you use flash. Not only does flash take forever to load, but the search engine spiders won’t be able to understand it. Not to mention that the search engines are unable to index anything with flash. Simply put, if you use flash on your site, then the search engines can’t index it.

So for search engine optimization you need to create readable content using text. So make sure you avoid flash and keep everything in text.

The title of your page is extremely important because it contains your main keywords. More on-page optimization includes placing the main keywords in the Description and Title tags in your page code. It will make some amout of difference in your overall SEO score with the search engines. But be sure you do not fall into temptation of thinking more is better. Don’t repeat the keywords a lot or else it starts looking like keyword spam, which is the last thing you want to happen. For best effect, mention the keyword in the first paragraph and then just write normally but use it again several more times.

All in all, SEO copywriting isn’t an easy job. You’ll need to put a lot of work into it especially if you’re new to it. Always bear these tips in mind, and put them into practice.
