Building back-links is easily the most vital aspect to getting websites ranked. This is quite a simple strategy and the good news is that WordPress and Blogger aren’t the only free blog services available. Not by a long shot. There’s also tumblr, Blog.com, wetpaint, Vox, Livejournal, Doodlekit, Bravejournal and many more. Simply search for “create a free blog” on Google and you’ll likely find a dozen more sites like this.. You can post content and links to each of these blogs, effectively building your own small link-network.

Now, you might be thinking that it must take a hell of a lot of time, writing so many posts on so many blogging platforms, just to get a few links. But remember: You can take articles that you’re already submitting to article directories and re-purpose them by posting them to your blogs. If you make use of some basic article spinning, you’ll even have completely unique content to submit to each article directory and each free blog.
