How To Achieve Higher Conversions with Google Adwords

Google AdWords has given a huge opportunity to advertisers who are looking out to promote their product and get targeted exposure. So that’s what we’re talking about today, how to write stronger ad copy for better results.

There are several components involved, and just one of them is the call to action. Yes, of course some people either don’t know it or don’t do it for some reason. You don’t have to trust us, but you should be willing to trust the direct response industry which proved (decades ago) that a strong call to action works better. When a searcher clicks on your ad, he needs to know the benefit for him. You need to realize that the reader doesn’t care about you at all. Out of all the other ads, why should the reader choose you? Don’t tell us, tell them. For example, if the searcher is thinking about buying gold clubs, then he needs to get to a landing page where he gets exactly what he’s looking for. If the reader gets to your site, or landing page, and there’s something unrelated; then all your work will be in vain.

Avoid long words with many syllables, and just make sure that each word really counts and must be there. There is just no getting around it that all letters and words really count a lot with PPC ads. Words that do not need to be there are taking up space that can be better used to express your benefits and call to action.

Stories are extremely powerful when told right, and while you don’t quite have enough space in an ad, you can allude to experiences. There’s no better way to bring out the interest in your target audience than gain to their empathy or sympathy. If you use the story part, then be very sure there is some tie-in like they can realize similar results as you. Always keep in mind that you can become adept with writing ads that get results for Google Adwords or any other PPC ad platform. Very many people have had bad experiences with PPC, but it is not difficult to do well.
